Simple rules
- Pick a theme and difficulty. One person explains while the others guess. Form two teams if you want a competition.
- Press “Start round”. Use meanings, examples and associations, without saying the answer or a form of the same word.
- Tap “Got it” for correct answers. When time runs out, note the team’s score and pass the phone.
You could describe “lighthouse” as a tower with a light that helps ships find the shore. For “umbrella”, try describing an object that keeps the rain off you. Decide in advance whether translations or gestures are allowed. Use the same rules for every team. Start with easy words, then try abstract ideas when everyone feels comfortable.
Common questions
How does scoring work?
Each tap on “Got it” adds one point to the current round. Skipping does not change your score.
Does it keep a total for both teams?
The screen shows the current round’s result. Teams keep their own totals across multiple rounds.
How is this different from Charades?
Here you can speak and explain meanings. Charades uses gestures without speaking.
